School Ambassador Program
Attention High School Students Across the Coastal Bend! From W.B. Ray High School to Tuloso-Midway High School, you have a chance to make a difference. If you're passionate about supporting the mission of Future Healers of the Coastal Bend and want to play a key role in promoting our initiatives, consider applying for the position of School Ambassador. College Advising and Academic Support
Applying to college can feel overwhelming, especially when you are trying to turn your experiences into an essay that feels personal and true to you. Future Healers of the Coastal Bend offers free college application essay review for high school students who would like another set of eyes on their writing before submitting.
Our team can review Common App personal statements, school-specific supplemental essays, and scholarship essays. Feedback is focused on helping students improve clarity, organization, and how effectively their experiences come through on the page while preserving their individual voice.

Mentorship Program
Mentorship is a cornerstone of the Future Healers of the Coastal Bend's mission to level the playing field for students pursuing careers in healthcare. Many students lack the role models and resources that are crucial for navigating the path to medical and healthcare professions. Our mentorship program addresses this gap by providing tailored support and inspiration, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the opportunity to achieve their dreams. Through mentorship, we aim to foster a diverse and well-prepared generation of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on their communities.

Tutoring Program
In line with our mission, we offer free on-request tutoring services via Zoom to support students in their academic success.
How It Works:

Volunteer Tutors: College students from across the country apply to become tutors. They undergo rigorous testing to demonstrate proficiency in subjects ranging from AP Chemistry to World History.

Matching Process: Based on student requests, we match each student with a tutor who best meets their needs and availability.

Personalized Support: Students receive tailored academic assistance in their chosen subject areas, helping them to excel in their studies and achieve their educational goals.
Our program ensures that high-quality tutoring is accessible to all students, helping them to thrive academically and pursue their aspirations in healthcare.
